What is Rotary?
Rotary International is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create change across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves.
Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary was established on September 5, 1991 and has been a positive contributor to community life in the area ever since. Our club belongs to Rotary District 7490. We frequently partner with other Rotary clubs and community stakeholders all over the world on projects to make sustainable improvements in the lives of others.
1st Day 5K
Kick off your New Year with a healthy and meaningful start by joining us for our 21st Annual 1st Day 5K! This exciting event brings together runners and walkers to support our community and Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self.
What is the 5K?
Our 5K is a family-friendly event designed to promote health and community spirit while raising funds for Rotary projects.
What do the proceeds support?
Proceeds from the 5K go directly to supporting local and global initiatives such as scholarships for students, food donations for families in need, community service projects, and international humanitarian efforts like our clean water project in Juticalpa, Honduras. Your participation helps make a difference!
How to Register
Registration is quick and easy – sign up today and be part of this inspiring tradition. Early registrants receive a race t-shirt and everyone gets a swag bag filled with goodies from our generous sponsors.

About Our Club
Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary meets every Tuesday at 7:30am (except for the last Tuesday of the month) at the Fair Lawn Community Center located at 10-10 20th St., Fair Lawn.
On the last Tuesday of the month we host a dinner meeting at 6pm at Juany’s Cafe & Grill, 12-56 River Rd., Fair Lawn.

The Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary Club is an officially chartered club of Rotary International. We meet every Tuesday morning at 7:30 AM at the Fair Lawn Community Center except the last Tuesday of each month, when we meet at 6:00 PM at a local restaurant.

We’ve partnered with the Kerrville Rotary Club to collect teddy bears for children impacted by the recent flooding. Something as simple as a stuffed animal can provide a sense of safety, love, and hope during an incredibly difficult time.![]()
