Sponsors Mini-golf and “Super Zak” fundraisers for children with Juvenile Diabetes – Supports local Scouting programs and provides financial support for Eagle Scout Projects

Sunrise Rotary Supports Students:

 Provides two scholarships for High School seniors – Provides financial support for Saddle Brook High School Interact Club projects – Provides three RYLA Scholarships – Provides an Adult Continuing Education Scholarship for adults over age 26

 Sunrise Rotary Supports Seniors:

 Sponsor yearly social event – Provides financial support for TJ Character Counts! Senior Breakfast

 Sunrise Rotary Supports Veterans:

 Provides funding towards annual “Wreaths Across America” Ceremony – Provides veteran’s wreath at annual Memorial Day Service – Contributes to Borough’s Office of Veterans Affairs Trust Fund

Sunrise Rotary Supports Residents with Special Needs:

Sponsors annual “New Year’s Dance” hosted by ADA Committee – Sponsors annual scholarship for a graduating senior with special needs – Sponsors Yoga in the Street to benefit Fair Lawn Opportunity Center – Provides funding for an Eagle Scout Project at the Opportunity Center – Sponsored Comedy Night for Brandon Higgins, a 23 year old resident with brain cancer – Provides flowers for the garden at Berdan Grove’s Inclusionary Playground

 Sunrise Rotary supports the Fair Lawn community:

 Sponsors an annual “Service Above Self” Dinner to recognize a volunteer and local business who continuously give back to the community – Contributes annually to the Fair Lawn Fire Department, Fair Lawn Rescue Squad, Fair Lawn Auxiliary Police and Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps – Contributes to the Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD) program sponsored by the Fair Lawn Police Department – Sponsors a concert for the annual Summer Concert Series at Memorial Park – Conducts annual food drive for the Fair Lawn Food Pantry and the Van Riper Ellis Church Food Pantry ($63,000 worth of food and cash donations have been collected as of the April, 2018 food drive) – Contributed to the Borough’s Fire Victims Fund to aid Fair Lawn residents who lost their home in a fire – Mans the main ticket gate at the annual Summer Fireworks Ceremony – Adopted Berdan Grove Park, providing three park cleanups per year.
